In this project, we were given the task to heighten the value of a currently low value dry food product that is on the market. We chose cup ramen because when people mention them, they usually think that it is cheap and unhealthy. Because of this, we thought that this product would have the most potential. We want to change that perception for consumers, so that they realize that there is potential for a healthier meal in the cup ramen market. Our concept for a new bowl is to have a bigger portion size with a variety of healthier ingredients so that customers can have a healthy and filling meal.

Our package is portable, but also easy to store at home. The package includes chopsticks, which makes bringing and making lunch simpler and easier. Our bowl-shaped package opens up to a bigger size, so there is more room after the noodles have expanded from cooking. After cooking, the three flaps that keeps the package closed can be easily teared off for eating.

In this collaborative project we were given a location on RIT campus, in our case it was the Nature Trail. Our main goals were to promote and increase the awareness of students on campus, and educate them on what to and not to do through an interactive experience by using the prototyping tool, InVison, to create the desktop, tablet, and mobile experience. We wanted to create a clean and sophisticate look for our site and app that would appeal to college students, but also to staff and the community near our school.

Kirakira is an international annual Lolita meetup event that aims to connect Lolitas around the world. Lolita is a fashion that originated from Japan in the late 1970s, which is also used to refer to the people who wear the style. It is a cute, elegant, and modest style that went against the trend at the time that revealed more skin. There are many substyles under Lolita, each having its own unique feel.

Lots of parents are very awkward when it comes to answering their child’s “how do I know if I’m gay?” and other complicated questions. They are not prepared and can be startled or embarrassed to answer these questions that are being thrown at them.

It is important that parents are prepared to give age-appropriate answers to these kind of questions with confidence and credibility.

MMi Monthly is a newsletter designed for Measured Marketing Inc. to send out to sales representatives to help them increase the client base and help clients decide when to send relevant email adverts and website banner adverts with tips and suggestions. I was tasked to create these monthly newsletters from provided body copies. This assignment was very open and I was able to choose and implement a design style that would be used across all the newsletters. I decided to go with a style that uses simple graphics to help visualize key points and separate each section into easily digestible pieces.
